The Wedding Experience
Since getting married in 2017, weddings are my favorite thing to photograph and have become even more sacred to me. Reliving my vows in each wedding keeps me tied to this career with more of my heart than I could’ve imagined when I first started. They continuously help me to always see the beauty in marriage and family life. When I get to go home and look through the day I captured, just smiling til my cheeks hurt, I see the magic I was privileged to experience.

Are you a super planner or a go with the flow? A questionnaire will be sent to you so that we can make your day as perfect as possible. As your day gets closer, we will draft up a timeline and make sure we are on the same page about what is most important to you both. We are here for you through every little stage.

Engagement session
Your photographer will shoot your wedding! The big day can be the hardest part, but our goal is to make sure it's the easiest and most fun. Sit back, relax, and let us make the best day of your life into tangible, lasting memories.
Wedding day
Expect your sneak peek 1 week after your wedding and your entire wedding gallery within 5 to 9 weeks! We hope to hear from you about how we did! Finally, we can help you order prints or a custom album if you would like.

Whether you select an all-inclusive, luxury photo and video package or a simpler, shorter day with an associate, we promise our team will capture all of your intimate moments in timeless images for you to enjoy for many years to come. The average investment for my services is $4500 and $3000 for my associate services.

Second shooters are already a part of our 10-hour package, but adding a second photographer to any other package is $80/hour, and completely worth it! A second shooter enhances the day by getting different angles & perspectives and gives the opportunity to split up from the lead photographer and gain more ground in a short amount of time.
Should I have a second photographer at my wedding?
All of your files will be edited and sent to you in a high-resolution, downloadable digital gallery separated into folders (ceremony, family photos, etc). You can make favorites lists and order prints, books, and more from this gallery too.
How do my photos get to me?
YES, you are able to customize your wedding package in several ways. If you want 13 hours of wedding coverage, we’ll be there. Adding time begins at $500/hour for me (Nikayla) & $400/hour for an associate.
If you’re worried about the cost of a videographer, ask me what the options are in your area and on your date.
You can also add a custom wedding album created for you by me. I would love to talk to you about it in person or over the phone since the prices for albums vary so widely.
Am I able to customize my wedding package?
Yes! In 2023, a huge goal of mine was to add videography as an option to book alongside Nikayla & Co. I have several videographers lined up to serve you and shoot your big day, and the footage will be edited to match the photography style and sent to you with your full gallery.
Do you offer videography?
All associate photographers of Nikayla & Co are chosen by me and are educated professionals who are completely trustworthy to shoot your big day. I wouldn’t let these lovely professionals out into your special event or milestone without them meeting my high standards.

What is your referral program?
Fill out a contact form if you haven’t already, letting me know that you’re ready for a consultation meeting and contract signing to officially book Nikayla & Co. Let’s do this!
I’m interested in your services. What are the next steps?
The rest of the money due after the retainer is paid may be paid monthly or in a couple of payments, but the entire balance is due 2 weeks prior to your session or 1 month prior to your wedding.
Do you offer a payment plan?
Booking retainers to save dates are ⅓ for weddings and ½ for other sessions. They are non-refundable.
Is there a deposit due to book with you?
Though I shoot primarily in South Dakota, Minnesota, North Dakota, & surrounding areas, I travel a bunch. My associates shoot in ND, MN, FL, CA, AZ, Vegas, and more, and travel as well! Longer distance traveling fees can be discussed and will vary based on travel expenses to your specific area. Travel to most of ND and MN is a flat fee of $200-300. I LOVE flying to wherever your dream wedding destination is, so please don’t hesitate to ask!
