JUNIPER LOFT GETTING READY SPACE, CATHOLIC CEREMONY, & FINE COCKTAIL DISTILLERY EARL GILES
morgan + tj
This Minneapolis wedding began as many do, in a pretty, well-lit getting ready space called The Juniper Loft, where Morgan’s details were photographed (some in the direct & radiant morning sunlight). The juniper loft is a large space with plenty of natural light and several small spaces with couches, a bed, and more. it served us perfectly for a prep and details space for morgan’s large bridal party. with a perfect hair & makeup team, things were off to a truly glamorous start. Morgan’s details were stunning, with her vintage looking engagement ring band in the full sunlit old wood floors, these flat lays were some of my favorites of all time.
The bride’s dad responded with total glee as he did his first look with Morgan. And then we headed across the street to do the couple’s first look.
After portraits of just the two of them (and a few with TJ’s adorable son), they sat on a bench overlooking the Minneapolis skyline near Stone Arch bridge to read emotional letters from each other before we added their families and wedding party.
As soon as the ceremony started, we could hear the soft sounds of rain outside, but as TJ & Morgan exited their own ceremony, they swung open the doors to a full on downpour outside. Honestly, thank goodness we did all the portraits early in the day!
A couple of stops later, we made it to Earl Giles Distillery, where the hors d’oeuvres included oysters and drinks that would put any speakeasy to shame.
