RAPID CITY CATHOLIC WEDDING WITH WHIMSICAL FLORALS, FILMY PHOTOS, AND COWBOY HATS
Brooke and Wyatte met at a rodeo through mutual friends (this is probably why there were so many cowboy hats at their wedding). Their day was extra special for me because it was so close to home in Rapid City, South Dakota, at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, and I also did their florals 🥳🌿🌷
The couple’s wedding flat lay was everything I’ve ever dreamed of and more. Elegant jewelry from The Little Catholic, Stella & Tide, and Etsy paired with invitations by Art in Heaven Design and the Bible verse Genesis 2:23: “This at last is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh.”
The guys got ready at the Fair Grounds and headed to the church for Brooke and Wyatte’s first look.
Sometimes plans change on wedding days, and we are here to roll with it! Whether it’s rain or 102-degree weather 🥵☀️, there is always an easy solution (like taking your photos in the church instead of at a park) to keep the day calm and enjoyable.
Wyatte and Brooke’s wedding was at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Help. They had some of the most adorable little children included in their ceremony 🥹
Brooke’s flowers were some of my favorites of the season (and not just because I did them 😅). They were whimsical and clean with fun pops of pink, purple, and blue.
Cowboy hats, cowboy hats, cowboy hats… oh yes, and more cowboy hats 😂🤠
Some of these are on a dreamy film camera vibe lens I got from Pocket Dispo 🎞️ and this is why I usually recommend a sunset session on the wedding day.
