ROCHESTER CATHOLIC WEDDING AT CHURCH OF ST FRANCIS OF ASSISI AND MAYOWOOD STONE BARN | HOPE & JARED

A CLASSIC, ROMANTIC WEDDING IN MINNESOTA TO START OFF THE JUBILEE YEAR OF HOPE.

Hope and Jared met through a friend at Jared’s work, who happened to be Hope’s roommate in college. She introduced them, and they really hit it off. Shortly after, Hope graduated (in December) and moved back to Rochester. The two traveled back and forth getting to know each other before Jared’s summer internship led him to Rochester. He proposed in June at Whitewater State Park where she happily said yes. Their winter wedding at Church of St. Francis was peaceful, joyful, and oh so good!

Hope & Jared’s wedding was a few days after Christmas, a perfect start to the jubilee year of Hope. Fun fact: Hope was born in the jubilee year of Hope in 2000 & is now married in the next year of Hope! Jared also converted to the faith last year, and they have a deep devotion to the holy family.

Hope is the baby of the family, so her dad and mom seeing her at their first look was so emotional and sweet. Jared and his guys got ready at the reception venue, Mayowood Stone Barn. For their fun activity of the morning, they played foosball and cornhole.

All of Hope’s joyful smiles & a gorgeous wedding mass at Church of St. Francis where two became one. How I love the merriness of a Christmas season wedding!

Again, this church’s front doorway?! Just asking for pictures to be taken there. This was one of those wildly foggy days, but the photos came out looking so dreamy because of it.

Mayowood Stone Barn has a cool history. It belonged to THE Dr. Chuck Mayo and it was essentially a hobby farm for ponies and horses. Now, it hosts everything from weddings to carnivals!

Cozy Christmas mixed with beautiful brick and an elegant tablescape. Also, I really love this cake from Hyvee. Personal cakes are so trendy right now, and that is great, but I just love how ornate this is!
