AN ELEGANT COUNTRY SUMMER CATHOLIC WEDDING DAY WITH PRETTY BLUES, ROLLING HILLS, AND A GRAND EXIT WITH ALL THE BELLS & WHISTLES

Micah & Will got to know each other talking on the phone while Will was in the combine in Nebraska and Micah was on a rotation in Buffalo, New York. It didn’t take long until Micah was visiting the farm and sitting in the combine with him. I’ll have to do an official count one day, but so many of my couples are long distance at one point or another, and I think it’s really beautiful. Fighting for love and keeping a firm foundation in Christ is a gift, and it leads to beautiful days just like this one!

Now something needs to be said about quaint little country churches. Driving through the countryside with nothing but rolling hills and all of a sudden you’re in an incredible church with some of the most intricate details. St. Joseph’s Catholic Church was nothing short of breathtaking. A first look, love letters, and some portraits – feel free to ooh and aah over these two!

When Will was asked about his vision for their wedding day, he said: “When I look back at our wedding, I want to clearly remember the sacrament of marriage; I want to be able to feel the joy from the day and have it be an honest reflection of who we are.” There was so much joy & love this day that the feelings in these photographs are palpable.

On to celebrate Micah & Will’s love! There are so many hidden gems in the Nebraska prairie and Venue 1883 is another perfect example. These two were radiating in the window light and were surrounded by so much love from all their family & friends.

Then to twirl around during golden hour & some bridal party photos after dinner. Consider this my petition that there should be an old rope swing at every venue because these two love birds are just too cute. The night concluded with dancing and I wasn’t even surprised with the amount (& skill!!) of everyone swing dancing! It rounded out a perfect country summer Catholic wedding day!
