Jan + Kalei: A Proposal at their first date site

Proposals always have my heart because of the sheer idea of desiring to spend your entire life with someone, but because they are just JAM packed with emotion the entire way through. Every bit of the process is worth photographing – tearful smiles to joyful silence to cheeks hurting from smiling so hard!

Not only was none of this shoot posed, but it wasn’t even necessary to do so because Kalei & Jan have worked with me before for a styled wedding shoot, and are so incredibly comfortable in front of my camera that they felt like they could just be themselves and soak up these minutes of “will you marry me?” and “yes!”

Gareheim Park in Las Vegas, NV was where this couple had their first date many years ago as teenagers. I can’t WAIT to tell you more when I showcase more of this couple and their story in their engagement photos!
