A WEDDING IN MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN AT ST. SEBASTIAN’S CATHOLIC CHURCH WITH A COUPLE STRIVING TO BE SAINTS.
I always love coming to Milwaukee, but even more so for people as caring and sweet as these two 🥺💗 Lilly and Alejandro met, as so many do, at a bar in college. They say it was one of those “saw you from across the room moments.” They connected, went on their first date the very next day, and have been pursuing saintly love ever since.
Lilly got zipped up with her mom right before her bridesmaid’s first look. She is genuinely one of the sweetest brides alive; so gentle and Marian.
The two were married at St. Sebastian’s Catholic Church – a beautiful space reflecting the beauty of their day.
After the ceremony, this bride and groom chose to do a private vow reading as a part of their couples session and boy did it get the emotions flowing 😠it’s so beautiful seeing a saintly love like this. There are so many parts of wedding days when I can’t believe I get to hear and see such intimacy, and private vows are one of them. I don’t deserve it, but I am honored by it.
Their reception was at the STUNNING Birch venue, decorated with a unique color scheme of greens.
There is something so unique and uplifting about the speeches at weddings where the couples are striving with their whole hearts to be good, to be holy, and to love in the fullest sense of the word. To have a saintly love that carries each other to heaven.
I can genuinely say there was not a dry eye during Lilly’s dad’s speech. My heart was plunged into a deep sense of gratitude because I was able to hear stories that may very well one day be in a little book about Saints on some families’ bookshelves.
