Becca and Erik met when they attended Concordia College together. They were in the same orchestra, and after a bit of time growing in friendship, including one movie night and a week-long orchestra tour, they’ve been together ever since. They had their wedding at the University of Mary simply because they found it beautiful – the landscape, chapel, reception area, and Marian Grotto.

The giant blue sky and soft, rolling landscape of western ND is truly one of my favorites. It’s where I grew up and brings so much nostalgia and calm.
This big chapel was full of so many loved ones. I loved seeing Becca beam at Erik as she slid his wedding band onto his finger.
Ok, stop. This is so pure and holy and makes me wanna cry silent happy tears. Just little flower girls receiving God into their hearts 🥺 ⛪️ 💗
Also, I just wanted to give a huge shoutout to the University of Mary for being such an incredible Catholic school and for giving me so many faithful “UMary couples” as clients for the past few years 😁
The reception was filled with so many sweet kiddos. Father said a prayer to start us off, and then the couple played the Newlywed Game.
That iconic University of Mary sunset I hear so much about 🌅 🤩 and then some prayer time in the Marian Grotto.
