Monique + Dash
Monique, Dash, & their perfect baby boy as the ring bearer were the stars of this day, but were also adorable, sweet, and humble. Monique got ready at Cypress Ridge while her close friends (luckily professionals who do *stunning* work did her hair and makeup. Brooklyn from Hair by Brooklyn stood on a chair curling Monique’s gorgeous dark hair while Hanna with Blue Dot beauty did a flawless makeup look that worked so well with Monique’s features.
At one point while getting ready, Monique blurted out: “wait… I’m going to be married in an hour and a half???” the disbelief in the hours before the ceremony is so incredible and relatable lol.
Monique made most of her own bouquets and centerpieces with wooden and dried flowers. The color scheme was soft and lovely, going so well with her ivory gown (which was honestly jaw dropping) and rose gold accents.
When their baby boy showed up, Monique dropped her Starbucks and got him dressed in his tiny, soft “tux” before surrendering him to grandma for a bottle.
Smores, bubbles, &… mini donuts
After an outfit change, some smores and mini donuts from the Donut Truck, and some photos at their adorable Photo Booth location, it was first dance time! Their first dance song included the lyrics “you are the joy of my life, which Dash had that engraved on his wedding ring and was so emotional and sweet.
