A perfect clear sky sunset at the El Dorado Dry Lake Beds
If you drive just southeast of Las Vegas & Henderson, NV, you might just run into a giant, flat area between the mountains that used to be a lake. The dust flies, the wind circles, and it’s spotted with people camping, exploring, and having their photos taken.
I was lucky enough to be asked by these two incredibly cute humans to be a little part of their first anniversary trip by taking some romantic photos of them while they travelled away from their home in Tennessee.
This bouquet was made by Nikayla & Co Gardens, and was inspired by Lyndsey’s actual wedding bouquet, with touches of blush and lots of dried elements (including wooden roses) mixed with eucalyptus & little accents.
After walking, running, and dancing around, the sun started going behind the mountains & giving us the softest pastel yellows & oranges to amplify even further the beauty of this little anniversary shoot.
Lyndsey chose to wear a silky, white dress to commemorate the wedding, AND she wore her actual wedding shoes too.
Enjoy a few more photos from this session below! The second half of their session took place at the Neon Museum in Las Vegas, and is in a separate blog (that I’ll link when it’s up)!
