CELEBRATED IN BOISE, IDAHO, AT THE CATHEDRAL OF ST. JOHN THE EVANGELIST AND THE CHATEAU DES FLEURS, THIS IDAHO CATHOLIC WEDDING WAS A DREAM TO SHOOT.
Kate & Michael met on the dating app Hinge. Kate actually made the first move when she noticed his “typical Sunday” involved going to Mass. Their pursuit of each other from the very beginning sounds so pure and intentional. It was a joy to be a part of their Idaho Catholic wedding.
I started off the day at the Chateau des Fleurs, which is absolutely jaw-dropping gorgeous. All of the little details of this space are so intentional and how can one simply not gaze in awe at all the chandeliers? I took some details of the day and then headed to where the girls were getting ready for some fun portraits in their robes before we made our way to the church.
Here we are in the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist in Boise, Idaho. Kate’s mom helped button up her dress while the guys helped Michael straighten up his tie.
I’m always so grateful to shoot at a new Cathedral. Somehow they all feel like home. And this one was no different, shooting a lovely and romantic and holy day for Kate & Michael.
The images of Kate & Michael praying together as husband and wife have my heart. I believe these two have a tender and romantic love that is so rarely seen these days.
Kate & Michael also chose an incredibly elegant venue (just wait til you see the inside fully decorated) with a garden space to take some fall portraits.
A classy, clean, and emotional reception at one of my favorite venues in the U.S. (and the sweetest polaroid photographer you’ve ever seen).
I just want to give a shoutout to Jenee Cochern from Bliss Events for planning this day with the bride and groom. Everything was joyful and beautiful and could not have come together without her helping hand.
