A VIBRANT AND COLORFUL SUMMER DAY WITH JEWEL TONED WEDDING FLORALS FEATURING NOTES OF RED, BLUE, PURPLE & MORE!
When I created Nikayla & Co. a number of years ago, it has been my vision to cultivate my company into something that can serve brides & grooms by offering them various vendors! Of course, I have an incredibly talented team of photographers and videographers, but Nikayla & Co. also offers floral design services. It’s something I truly love to do! I am still dreaming about these vibrant jewel toned wedding florals from this past May at The Atrium by Blue Haven in Sioux Falls, SD.
I was honored to be Kari and Sam’s wedding florist for their special day (photographed by Caitlin Slaba Photography). Kari wanted to bring her vibrant floral vision to life so we incorporated various tones of blues, reds, purples and more into each piece. We used a large variety of flowers including roses, snapdragons, dahlias and more to really give it that wildflower feel.
The style was kept the same throughout the bouquets for Kari’s maid’s, which looked so stunning with their variety of dress colors! We also had a simple and classic boutonnière for Sam. Which was an easy way to help the groom stand out!
I loved how natural their centerpieces and decorations felt. An easy way to stretch your florals is to repurpose them throughout that day! The bridesmaid bouquets look so darling on the dessert bar, and the aisle pieces worked perfectly in front of the DJ booth.
