AUTUMN ORCHARD CATHOLIC WEDDING IN SIOUX FALLS, SD | MALLEY & MAX

south dakota

AN UNFORGETTABLE DAY CELEBRATING MALLEY & MAX AT ST. THERESE CATHOLIC CHURCH AND THE MEADOW BARN FOR THEIR SIOUX FALLS CATHOLIC WEDDING

Max and Malley met way back in 6th grade when they were partnered together for a project. They dated in high school for a bit and then broke up during college. They were reconnected through mutual friends over two years later. In their words, “after experiencing life without each other, we [they] decided that life together was better than being apart.” Their story leading up to their Sioux Falls Catholic Wedding is so tender and beautiful (slightly pictured in their vow books below). And an incredible testament to the Lord’s timing.

To start the day, Malley got ready with her girls in the bridal suite at the Meadow Barn. Max got ready in the groom’s suite also at Meadow Barn.

This day had truly flawless details, with an emotional first look. Where Max wiped Malley’s tears and their portraits radiated a forever kind of love. Not to mention Malley’s colorful fall bouquet from Indigo Row Floral Design.

THE WEDDING MASS

St. Therese, otherwise known as the “Little Flower” had her hand in so many elements of this wedding day. Malley’s necklace was designed in honor of her, She’s Malley’s confirmation saint, the church Malley’s parents were married in was named after her, and so was the church Malley and Max got married in. St. Therese of Lisieux pray for this holy couple!

Malley & Max, being high school sweethearts for almost a decade have come a long ways past the ‘honeymoon phase’ and into a sturdier, deeper, and more perfect kind of love. Father spoke all about this in his homily & ended by telling all of us guests: “Today, you all have a front row seat to JOY.”

After their wedding mass, we made a little stop for some fancy drinks. These two were seriously one of the easiest couples I’ve ever worked with. They are simply so in love.

Now, onto the reception at The Meadow Barn at Country Orchards. Where the bridal party entered with signs stating “14 years later…”, Malley and Max cut a two-tiered cake with bows, and the speeches even brought some of the men to tears. A deeply intentional and loving celebration in honor of these two.

“What a gift both to have & to be a witness on this long journey of life. To be seen & known. & also to watch, as together we stumble into grace & mercy over & over again. You & me forevermore” – from Malley to Max
