CATHOLIC SPRINGTIME WEDDING CEREMONY AT THE CATHEDRAL OF OUR LADY OF PERPETUAL HELP IN RAPID CITY, SD, AND BRIDGER STEEL BUILDING RECEPTION.
Where to start?? I could say Rose & Sam are some of the most intentional people ever, but that would be the understatement of the year.
Rose got dressed with her sister and Mom in the airbnb that the entire wedding party shared for getting ready. The men hung out downstairs and the ladies upstairs, and it was perfect for the occasion.
Sam & Rose had a SPRING wedding, and you could see it all in the flowers. Soft blues, peaches, and bits of other yellows and pinks were all I needed to see to know that this was going to be a joyful, fun, and sweet day.
The backyard boasted a river with a beautiful bridge, which was the perfect location for everything from first looks to portraits.
When Sam first saw Rose, he literally almost couldn’t speak. He tried several times and no sound came out and it was the most heartwarming thing.
As I mentioned, this was a very intentional day – Sam got each of his MANY groomsmen individual, personalized gifts and wanted to watch them open them in front of the cameras too.
Another Cathedral wedding under my belt.
Getting married in front of Our Lady of Perpetual Help’s icon is a pretty incredible thing, and it looked amazing on these two.
Sam crying after receiving the Eucharist with his bride was one of my favorite parts of this entire day.
Some very heartfelt and emotional speeches – particularly when Rose and Sam read personal vows to each other in front of everyone and the whole place was wiping tears from their eyes.
This sunset session was just a giggle fest and we got some really amazing cloud formations!
People enjoyed being outside in the lovely April weather all night: smoking, blowing bubbles, and throwing bags!
CONGRATS ROSE & SAM!
