Joshua & Hannah Hollcraft – a beautiful, holy couple. So visibly in love.
When I arrived at the house where Hannah & her girls were getting ready, she gave me all the details to photograph in the backyard. When I ran back in for her engagement ring, she was peacefully praying. It was so inspiring, it stopped me in my tracks. Hannah dressed & got her veil from Etsy and she and her girls arranged all the flowers themselves! Once we got to the church, Josh’s family was surrounding him in prayer.
The ceremony was so reverent and special. Social distancing can make ceremonies indoor hard, but with the grandness and beauty of St. Stanislaus, it was easy to stay enveloped in the wedding mass.
After taking photos inside the church, we went all over the grounds, which are just SPECTACULAR. Then, we ventured toward the reception and stopped to take sunset photos in the orchards near Modesto, CA, which were ridiculously pretty. Like jaw dropping. And yet, they managed to look even more lovely with Josh and Hannah wandering through them. Being adventurous during the couples session becomes one of the best parts of the day!
Their reception was in a big tent on a friend’s property out of town, and was perfect. White string lights were all over, and there were special treats. A dinner of tacos and churros filled us all up, and everyone danced to Selena until even a while after the couple made their exit. Thank you for one of the most fun and beautiful weddings I’ve had the honor to shoot to this day!
