SUGAR LAND, TEXAS CATHOLIC WEDDING CELEBRATED AT ST. LAURENCE CATHOLIC CHURCH, FOLLOWED BY A RECEPTION AT BISCOE MANOR
Kyle and Madison both studied theatre in undergrad and started internships with Florida Studio Theatre after graduation. Madison found out Kyle was Catholic and introduced herself by saying, “Hi! I’m Catholic, you’re Catholic. Let’s be friends!” They became good friends, but then were separated by the COVID-19 pandemic. It was then they started dating, completely virtually, and didn’t live in the same area again until Kyle moved cross-country to be with Madison in Denver. Madison and Kyle got ready at their reception venue, Briscoe Manor, in separate bride and groom suites. Madison’s dad’s reaction to her first look is so adorable, and I loved that she did a first touch with Kyle as well.
I love hearing how my couples met and the different ways the Lord can place a couple together. The fact that all it took to start Madison and Kyle’s relationship was a bold moment from Madison is so cool to me. One moment, and suddenly they were standing in St. Laurence Catholic Church committing their lives to leading each other to heaven.
After the wedding mass, the couple and my team took portraits outside of Briscoe Manor. One may think an off-season wedding won’t allow them a sunset session because the sun sets so early, but, oftentimes it overlaps with when you would already be taking couples portraits!
A cheerful night with dancing, food, cake, and a little tribute to Saturday Night Live, a favorite show of Madison and Kyle’s.
To end the night, Madison and Kyle had a private dance followed by a grand exit with bubbles!
