CATHOLIC WEDDING AT THE UNIVERSITY OF ST. THOMAS WITH A GETAWAY CAR DECORATED BY SWEET FRIENDS AND A RECEPTION AT THE MARRIOTT
Maria & Ethan met when they were studying at the University of St. Thomas, working in the same Biology research lab. They met at the college named after St. Thomas Aquinas and got engaged on his feast day. They were married at the Saint Thomas Aquinas Chapel on the feast day of Maria’s patron saint, St. Catherine of Alexandria.
Tenderness. Sweetness. Holiness. I caught myself more than once thinking, “I hope my kids grow up to be as gentle and sweet as Maria.” Here she is in her strapless gown from The Wedding Shoppe; the very picture of timeless elegance.
I call these next images, “maximum happiness on her way to see her almost-husband for their first look.”
A day so focused on the sacrament of marriage and the beauty of how two can walk hand in hand to the heart of Jesus. I am so unbelievably blessed by the best clients 😇
The five adjectives Maria & Ethan used to describe their ideal wedding were faithful, authentic, joyful, sustainable, and communal. I truly believe they achieved all of this and more.
I love it when couples have decorated cars for their entrance and/or exit to their wedding reception. This day was even more fun because I was able to see all of their dearest friends decorating it for them. Now, onto a reception at the Minneapolis Marriott Northwest!
