SUMMERTIME WEDDING IN MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN AT THE BASILICA OF ST JOSAPHAT WITH A RECEPTION AT THE POLISH CENTER.
Grace and Aiden’s wedding day had beauty hidden in every corner – or maybe just all around you because of the gorgeous Basilica of St. Josaphat. The two met their freshman year of high school in gym class and say they have been friends ever since.
Grace was so laid back and one of the easiest brides I’ve ever had the honor of working with. She and the girls started the day getting ready in the house Aiden and she now live in! Her girls were so chill and supportive as they got their hair and makeup done.
Meanwhile, Aiden’s mom pinned on his boutonniere while fighting back tears. The guys did some finishing touches before we took groomsmen and individual groom pictures.
I felt like a little kid in a candy story at the Basilica of St. Josaphat. It is a jaw-dropping church with some of the most wonderful art I have ever seen. I would have walked around for 2 hours if I had had the time to do so ⛪️✨🤩

On this trip to Wisconsin, I learned that Kopp’s is a Culver’s rival (and the superior custard shop according to my bride and groom). The bridal party shared a big bowl of it before entering the reception.
Grace and Aiden’s reception was at the Polish Center. It had art hanging all over the walls and big, beautiful windows that let in a lot of light.
We ran outside for some sunset portraits under a soft, buttery sky. The roses mixed with the little pond on the property added the perfect touch to the end of this holy day.
