CLASSIC CATHOLIC WEDDING AT ST. CHARLES BORROMEO WITH A RECEPTION AT SILVERWOOD PARK
Monica & Mark Mark met at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities a few days before Monica’s freshman year. Fast forward a few years and their friend groups began to overlap and they started hanging out more during her senior year. They started dating when they were both in the Twin Cities, and have undergone long-distance since. Finally ending, with the start of their new vocation on a beautiful day full of faith & love.
The blush pink, the cute robes, and the stunning Dolce Vita shoes had me in awe from the very start of the day. Monica & Mark’s wedding was so full of beautiful details carefully curated. When Monica came down for her first look with her bridesmaids, I knew I was going to be fighting back tears as all her girls complimented and affirmed how stunning she was.
& here come some more emotional moments as Mark sees his bride for the first time followed by a first look with Monica’s dad and brothers.
Now, time for the most incredible part of the day, the wedding mass at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. The only church I know of to pull off these incredible peach-colored walls.
After the mass, we took some portraits in this perfect church, and then headed to get fun drinks and start the reception at Silverwood Park.
The newlywed game, a soft May sunset session, and a dance floor ready to celebrate the Valde’s.
It can be so easily seen in the way Mark and Monica walked on their wedding day, how passionate they are about their friends and family. They prioritize community and faith, and do it with so much love and joy. I’m incredibly grateful to have witnessed this and been able to photograph it 🥹
