WHAT IS A NIKAYLA & CO. ASSOCIATE?
Nikayla & Co has a number of associate photographers and videographers on the team who are ready to serve you wherever you’re getting married. They are spread out all over the country and have been trained to shoot in the Nikayla & Co. style. If you’re looking for someone who knows the mass forward & backward and is zealous about their faith, they’ve got that down too. Having an associate team allows us the chance to do more weddings in a weekend, serve more clients at all different budgets, and connect with truly amazing individuals & couples. A darling and dreamy day in the New Mexico desert with Tayler and Aaron! A nuptial mass at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, where I just love all the stucco! Onto their reception at La Fonda on the Plaza – these two and all of their guests danced a “La Marcha” which is a traditional hispanic wedding dance and it was such a joy to witness!

Lisa & Jason
A day full of traditions and so much love! A crowning ceremony in the Byzantine Rite to start the day, and my jaw is still on the floor with how beautiful Annunciation Byzantine Catholic Church is. Lisa & Jason included so many traditions from the Eastern Church including the Crowning, carrying candles to reflect the light of Christ, and throughout the day they wove in Filipino, American, and African traditions (as Lisa grew up in Africa!). They ended the day with all their family and friends at Tuscany Falls.

These two middle-school sweethearts have come a long way since sitting in homeroom together! 7 years later, this day was such a fruitful gift. Pretty pinks were sprinkled throughout the day and Alyssa & Keegan had such a fun spring color palette. Their nuptial mass was at Holy Trinity Catholic Church followed by a reception at the Crossroads Hotel.

So much nostalgia was wrapped into JoAnna & Allen’s timeless day. A nuptial mass at JoAnna’s childhood parish in Oregon, a reception in a barn that her dad had built, birthday cake & crowns, a saint relic, roasting s’mores, a necklace gifted from JoAnna’s grandma on her 16th birthday, top notch dance floor props, and I could continue to go on & on! A beautiful, beautiful day, indeed!

A surprise dance with Val’s dad while wearing her mom’s dress, need I say anything more? A day that was so sweet and tender, between sharing private letters and sweet little hugs right after Valerie became a wife. Val & Elijah were married at St. Michael Catholic Church and celebrated with all their loved ones right next door!
