REVERENT AND TIMELESS ARIZONA CATHOLIC WEDDING WITH A STUNNING CHURCH, CACTUSES, AND COWGIRL BOOTS
Andrew & Kelsey met playing in a sand volleyball league. They were on separate teams, but Andrew would secretly try to get on Kelsey’s team during free play! Overtime, what stood out to the both of them was their love for the Catholic faith and the Church. These two were married in late January in sunny Arizona and their entire day was such a reverent and timeless gift.
There were so many timeless details throughout Kelsey & Andrew’s day. Their black and white color palette was simply classy. The gals began their day getting ready together, and after a first look with her ladies, Kelsey was off to the church! Kelsey’s first look with her dad had us all in tears, and Andrew got a first look with his parents too.
Kelsey and Andrew opted not to see each other before the ceremony at St. Bernadette Catholic Church. They still spent time together by praying a rosary in front of a portrait of the Holy Family just moments before becoming one. Kelsey and Andrew’s vision for the day was focused on “the reverence of the sacrament and the prayerfulness of the liturgy”. With Mary and a throng of saints looking down on them, their mass was simply beautiful.
Those first few moments as husband and wife, Andrew & Kelsey, spent time with our Mother. Followed by portraits in the church with their favorite people. Cactuses were sneaking their way into pictures and it made my Midwestern heart so happy!
On to a truly iconic night at Hope Barn & Gardens. A change into cowgirl boots, speeches that had big laughs & big tears, and a bouquet dedication to Kelsey’s mom made this reception so joyful and tender. Also a DJ with guitar props? Yes, please! Kelsey & Andrew ended their day with a private last dance and it was the perfect way to round out this Arizona catholic wedding day.
