Meghan and RD – one word to describe them? KIND. These two were sweet and calm and truly and totally in love.

This day, which was almost a year ago now, was chock full of gorgeous places to take photos, from the legendary Cathedral of St Paul, Minnesota, to the perfectly green Bruce Vento nature conservatory (where we were absolutely *careful* and cautious to love on and not hurt any of the nature), one of my favorite places to photograph outside, as the flowers and foliage change all year long.

I tried keeping my composure when booking this wedding, but to be honest, I couldn’t. This church is one of my favorites EVER and is so beautiful and just literally SPRAWLING and every square inch has remarkable detail and beauty in it.

Not only is this Cathedral lovely, but it has so much sentimentality to me and my husband too, because it’s where we attended mass for the few years we lived in St Paul.

OKAY, so back to this wedding. The girls prepped downstairs, and after doing some detail photos on the lovely white marble, I hung her dress in front of the Pieta gate. Meghan then got into her gown and did a first look with her maids, who were so genuinely happy for their friend.

So, what could make this church even more beautiful? Well, Meghan and RD.

RD beamed tearfully as Meghan walked down the mile-long aisle and the two of them walked up the stairs together, Meghan’s Cathedral veil and train following them like incense.

And I have to say, as much as I’d like to go into detail on this ceremony, the photos speak for themselves, and that’s my job anyway. So here are the photos from this divine and unforgettable nuptial liturgy.

After taking photos in the church and at their favorite chapel, we took a few on the steps and outside of this massive place, then headed to Bruce Vento for bridal party and couple photos by the tall summer trees.

Their reception had plenty of dancing, where Meghan’s dress was bustled to make it the PERFECT spinning dress, both on the dance floor and outside during our soft pink sky sunset session.
