A MINNESOTA CLASSY CATHOLIC WEDDING WITH THE HANDMAIDS OF THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS, A BRIDAL BOUQUET BY NIKAYLA & CO. GARDENS, AND A SWEET CAROLINE SPECIAL DANCE

Caroline and William are joyful and sweet people so it came as no surprise to me that they were surrounded by joyful and sweet people on their Classy Catholic Wedding day. It was an honor to witness another holy marriage begin in this perfect way.

Caroline’s dress was this beautiful lacy number from Bridal Aisle Boutique that paired perfectly with her One Blushing Bride Handmade veil. I may be *slightly biased*, but I was also a big fan of her bridal bouquet and the soft pinks included in it.

THE WEDDING MASS
These moments of prayer right before the ceremony are always some of the best to get to witness and capture. Here is the priest, altar boy, groom, and parents praying before William walked down the aisle of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church to await his bride.

One part of the wedding mass that I love is the nuptial blessing. Especially the bit about the husband entrusting his heart to his bride. It puts forth these beautiful expectations and hopes for every new husband and wife, alongside the key bit of knowledge that we *need* Jesus and prayer in order to have these words become a reality for us. Not just sometimes, but every day.

After a reverent mass, I took some portraits of the bridal party, a deeply in-love bride and groom, and a couple of handmaids so full of joy.

Love is magical. But the real magic of it is the gift we’re given in each other. A true gift of self between two people (over and over, not just once on the wedding day) IS the magic. It is bizarre and beautiful and provides a distinct meaningfulness and depth to life.

Check out all of these incredible details of Caroline & William’s reception at the Stonebrooke Golf Club. And, this sweet moment where Caroline’s mom got to hop in on their cake cutting because it was her birthday 🥹

Caroline’s dad gave the most heartwarming speech. He even read a poem she wrote about him when she was just a toddler, and everyone was teary-eyed.

As “Sweet Caroline” played, Caroline’s FIVE brothers took turns dancing with her until finally at the end, her new husband stepped in and I *loved* this part so much! It was a night full of Christ-like joy.
SO HAPPY FOR YOU, CAROLINE & WILLIAM!
