A CATHOLIC WEDDING IN MINNESOTA FALL AT THE CHURCH OF ST. MARK AND A SPEAKEASY VIBE RECEPTION AT THE HISTORIC JAX CAFE IN NORTHEAST MINNEAPOLIS.
Thomas and Kelsey met on Hinge and had their first date at a brewery called Lake Monster Brewing, which also served as the venue for their rehearsal dinner! We also took some of their engagement photos outside this brewery!
These were some of my favorite details even though they were so simple.
The ladies got ready at Kelsey’s apartment in St. Paul and it was chef’s kiss kinda cute 🤌🏼

Right before the ceremony, these two stopped in the adoration chapel to pray together quietly before entering into their new vocation.
Thomas was baptized and became Catholic at this church just a few weeks before their wedding day. Pictured below is the baptismal font that he was baptized in, and now, he got married in the same place. 🥹
Thomas has a stoic smile with his eyes that was actually really fun to capture for the more emotional moments of the day, especially when Kelsey walked down the isle to him and his eyes were all watery and red.
I especially love these photos of the bride during the vows – you can so easily see the joy and emotion she was feeling.
Kelsey and Thomas’s wedding day was on the Feast of St. Michael the Archangel, and this gorgeous artwork of St. Michael was in the sacristy where they signed their marriage license.
It was the very end of September and it was the perfect season for outdoor photos with sleeves on the dress and yellowing leaves all over.
Kelsey & Thomas had a super intimate, almost speakeasy-like reception venue with the dim lighting, luxurious materials, and fine art along the walls @jaxcafe1933. And it was a perfect place for direct flash, lots of emotions, & an old fashioned. 🥃🪞🍹
Kelsey’s younger sister is an artist and actually handmade all of the vases for the centerpieces. Each one was unique and so beautiful!
This couple’s wedding day was also international coffee day, so they had a coffee bar with espresso and all sorts of fun flavorings and toppings and honestly I think everyone should do this.
They danced LATE into the night, and thanks to the incredible DJ they hired, no one wanted to leave the dance floor 💃🏻🕺🏼 (especially Kelsey).
