HIGHSCHOOL SWEETHEARTS TIMELESS CATHOLIC WEDDING IN THE CHURCH JAMES & AVERY MET IN MANY YEARS AGO. COMPLETE WITH A JOYFUL RECEPTION!
“When we were around 12 years old we first met and at least for James, it was love at first sight. After many long years of waiting, and patiently flirting, and getting to know Avery, James made a move and asked Avery to be his girlfriend when he was 16. She said no… 4 days later though, James asked again, and Avery said yes.” After spending high school and college together, their love continued to blossom. When James decided to pop the question it didn’t take two attempts for Avery to say yes.
10 years later in the very church they met in, these two were married, and the day was about as sweet as you can imagine it being.
Avery began her morning surrounded by girls who clearly love her so. She then slipped into her dress with her mom, and while looking in the mirror there were portraits of so many saints looking down upon her as she was so close to becoming a wife.
Then to mass at the very church where James and Avery met. For years James would look back and see Avery sitting in a pew, years before she became his girlfriend. This time, he looked back and saw that same girl coming down the aisle to become his wife.
The rain gave way just as these two came out of the church and we were able to sneak in some portraits amongst the lush greenery. Which reminds me, as it was raining during James & Avery’s nuptial mass, a guest snuck out of the church to collect rain water. The intention behind this water is that it can be blessed and used to baptize James & Avery’s future children… are you kidding me?!
“As a dad of 3 daughters I’ve run through every first date scenario in my head for my oldest. From ‘can your daughter get ice cream with me’ which seems appropriate… to some creep pulling in the driveway in a pickup to take one of them to a drive in movie”
