Molly + Nate
This was such a special wedding. Not only did I get to photograph Molly and Nate’s wedding, but I also got to do their florals! Even back at their engagement session I knew that i was going to enjoy everything about their wedding. Their love is so easy to see and they are so silly and joyful together without coming off as ingenuine.
Their getting ready location was so perfect and bright! It had a big room to do a bridesmaids first look along with a gorgeous hall where Molly got her accessories on with her mom and Brenna (Blbridalstyles).
Molly and Nate saved their first look for at the isle, so they did a first touch before the ceremony instead. I absolutely love the first touch/prayers. Such an intimacy without even seeing the person you’re about to marry. It just makes me well up every time!
These two standing back to back reading letters out loud from each other made all 3 of us cry.
Molly did a first look with both her dad & grandpa, which were equally sweet.
The first time i was at St Charles Borromeo was as a NET Missionary. The place was torn up and getting remodeled at the time in 2014! And this was my second time back since. I was honestly really excited to see the place, as I had heard it was basically a “salmon” color, which is really unique. And it turned out WONDERFULLY. I absolutely am such a fan of this huge, wide open, but traditional sanctuary and all of the lovely warm colors in here.
Church couple portraits don’t have to just be standing at the front smiling. I love walking my couples around the church to take beautiful portraits of them really supplementing the beauty of the church and it’s textures, coloring, etc.
Bride + groom + bridal party made their way to the beautiful area of St. Anthony Main for portraits!
Wedding party photos were taken in somehow PERFECT lighting – and such a huge party but still got intimate and pretty photos.
I just LOVE how the florals turned out. Molly was so trusting with me, and the vision she had for her fall coloring was so beautiful and fun.

Walking the streets of Minneapolis with people who feel like old friends and the SKYLINE were the highlights of these portrait hours!
Off to the reception! Nate and Molly enter and do a swing dancing back flip (??!!!) and they changed into tennis shoes.
Sunset session
The night was filled with so much dancing and celebrating! The Liesen’s know how to party.
