A CATHOLIC WEDDING IN NEW YORK WITH EARTHY FALL TONES, A STUNNING POLISH PARISH CHURCH, AND TWO PEOPLE WHO COULDN’T BE MORE PERFECT FOR EACH OTHER.

Mary and Michael’s story started over 7 years ago, and it couldn’t be sweeter how they’ve grown and come together into the amazing couple they are today. Mary is a cradle Catholic and Michael entered the church Easter of 2024. I was overjoyed to be included in their New York Catholic Wedding!

This was my first time in New York for a wedding, and needless to say, I would love to go back. Mary & Michael are so genuine and kind and have the best Long Island accents I’ve ever heard.

After getting ready at the Hotel Indigo East End, the ladies made their way to Our Lady of Ostrabama, (a polish parish with a priest who is fluent!) for some fall-themed portraits outside.

Next up was a first touch and prayer at the back of the church. Mary was so joyful (as she had been all morning) and so was Michael. I knew this was going to be one of the best wedding days.

THE WEDDING MASS

After a traditional Catholic ceremony, I got to grab a couple portraits of Mary and Michael in the church. I couldn’t wait to get home and edit these because I knew they were pure magic.

Then everyone made their way to RGNY for the reception. They have beautiful grounds, and horses (!!), and the fall colors perfectly matched the wedding party’s mix of mocha brown, forest green, and light oranges.

The reception was decorated with the same gorgeous fall color scheme found in flowers and even had the seating chart on a vintage mirror (I really loved this).
