ELEGANT CATHOLIC BASILICA WEDDING IN SOUTH BEND INDIANA, SPRING PORTRAITS, HILTON HOTEL RECEPTION, ASSOCIATE WEDDING.
Hannah and Ross met during college while attending the neighboring schools of St. Mary’s College and the University of Notre Dame. The ceremony was at Ross’s alma mater’s campus (Notre Dame) and the reception took place at Hannah’s alma mater’s campus (St. Mary) – and their whole bridal party went to college together!
For getting ready, Hannah had her Godmother there to help her, which was really special for her Godmother because she doesn’t have any daughters of her own to experience that with.
The most ANGELIC church that truly lifts the eyes are soul upward with gorgeous pillars and that beautiful, bright blue ceiling.
The large stained glass windows gave us the best lighting for church portraits.
Because their bridal party were all students at ND, having pictures taken on campus was super nostalgic and special for the whole group.
The vibe for bride and groom portraits was ROMANCE with the weeping willow tree and spring flowers in bloom.
I loved all the personal touches that Ross and Hannah included at their reception, especially that Ross’s mom made their wedding cake!
And Hannah felt like it was a shame that the mom of the bride doesn’t usually get any special attention, so to make up for that she gave a little “thank you” speech and gave her mom her wedding bouquet, which was so sweet.
They spent the rest of the night celebrating and dancing with their closest friends and family!
