A CATHOLIC WEDDING IN FARGO, NORTH DAKOTA STARTING AT WHITE HOUSE CO. STUDIO, MOVING TO HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH, AND ENDING AT THE HILTON GARDEN INN.
Abbie and Nick met in high school but did not start dating until they were in college. I was so excited for their wedding day, especially because Nick was a kid in the youth group I led while I was in college. The way they look at each other is incredibly heartwarming, as was their day at Holy Cross Catholic!
Nick, the groom, works in graphic design (check his work out!!), so he designed their wedding invites. They were so clean and elegant.
A moment for the men and their game day walk up into the White House Co. Studio – a great place for clean photos that also has a homey vibe as well!
Then Nick’s mom pinned a picture of his dad into his suit so his late father could be with him all throughout the day, and Abbie had a very emotional first look with her brother.
Nick’s reaction in this first look told me everything I needed to know for the day. These two are obsessed with each other.
Abbie walked to her soon-to-be husband with tears in her eyes & then they got married in front of Jesus and their loved ones. They lit a unity candle to show the joining of two individuals into one married unit, an optional symbolic gesture in Catholic weddings, representing the merging of their lives and families as they become one ⛪️
All giggles and smiles and joy as the two left Holy Cross Catholic, now united in the holy sacrament of marriage ✨🥳
After a mini-celebration with the bridal party, we headed to the Hilton Garden Inn for the Loock’s reception. More classy, elegant details and a warm touch provided by the terracotta napkins.
Oh, how I love speeches from special people in the couple’s lives followed by sweet dances that leave family and friends in tears.
