A SIOUX FALLS CATHOLIC WEDDING WITH A WHIMSICAL, AUTHENTIC FEEL, BEAUTIFUL CHURCH CEREMONY AND TENTED VINEYARD RECEPTION.

This Sioux Falls wedding was a sweet, intentional day full of silly friends, dried flowers, sacramental love, and wine. We also had a team of 4 this day! Two photo and two video. Check out the video that we created from the day here.

Annelise and the girls got ready in the home that they would be sharing after their wedding! One bedroom was turned into a library and was the perfect place for Annelise to get dressed.

Annelise had her hair twisted into an updo so that for the reception, she could take a few pins out and let down a braid!

This beautiful church only about 45 minutes from Sioux Falls is in a small town. It is super ornate and has that lovely “country church on a hill” feel.

After the couple prayed together, Annelise’s bridal party and other close friends prayed over her in a little chapel just before we made our way upstairs.

Cody’s sweet and genuine reaction made everyone ooh and aww.

Mass was lovely and prayerful and holy. I’ll never get over witnessing the sacramental union of two people in a heavenly ceremony.

Annelise and I have a lot of friends in common from NET! The maid of honor was on my team and is a dear friend, and Brother Samuel (who is featured breakdancing later on in the blog) served a year or two after me.

We did portraits in a nearby park and found some of Annelise’s favorite flowers – lilac!

After that, we headed to Schade Vineyard, which has a reception tent and it is SO bright and pretty and well lit! The windows are adorable and the food was delicious too.

Finally, after a beautiful sunset session in front of a vineyard, the dancing began and joy and celebration filled the tent the rest of the night!

You know it’s a great party when you have a CFR Brother breakdancing.
