TRADITIONAL AND CHARISMATIC CATHOLIC WEDDING ON A WARM JUNE DAY IN OREGON AT ST. ALICE CATHOLIC CHURCH AND DOWNTOWN ATHLETIC CLUB.
Lydia and Cole met while serving as missionaries with NET Ministries. They were on the same team their second year where they both developed feelings for each other, but didn’t begin dating until they went to college. They both studied abroad in Rome together during their spring semester and got engaged in Loretto on the Feast of St. Joseph!
The gold necklace featured in this flat lay is of Our Lady of Loretto that a friend gave to Lydia on the day her and Cole got engaged there.
The ladies got ready at the retreat house attached to the church.
After getting ready, everyone met at the church for some praise and worship before the ceremony. Lydia stood behind Cole as they entered into prayer and praise and it was so beautiful and intimate without even seeing each other.
So many versions of “joy” were on Cole’s face as he awaited his lovely & holy bride walking down the aisle to him.
This was a Mass where traditional met charismatic and it was just stunning.
After a few church portraits, the wedding party took some photos at a park that showcased GORGEOUS Oregon landscapes.
A few more portraits of Lydia and Cole at the reception venue before making their entrance at the party.
Their wedding favors for all their guests were Holy Family metals from their time in Rome together!
A summary of Lydia and Cole’s reception: friends and family being stoked to pray over them during the best man’s speech, lots of sweet little details, and a dance floor that was popping off.
CHEERS TO LYDIA & COLE!
