OUTGOING LOVE SEALED BY THE SACRAMENT, A HEARTY DINNER, & DANCING THE NIGHT AWAY
Sara and Brett have such a sweet and unique love story and Sara & I have also known each other for quite a while! Brett started out as her mechanic. We sang at mass together in college & she sang at my wedding. Because of these things, it was so sweet to be invited to capture her wedding day! While I couldn’t be there myself, my associate did an incredible job and I loved reliving this day while editing it.
Sara started her wedding day by getting ready with her mom. It was so sweet to witness their relationship. I love that they got the morning to themselves & family! Before going out to her first look, Sara said hi to her bridesmaids that were still getting ready, and their reaction to seeing her in her dress was so fun!
Watching Sara & Brett see each other for the first time on their wedding day was so special. It was sweet, soft, and simply precious to capture. Before mass, we made sure to get an afternoon full of portraits in. Some took place at the capital building where timeless meets modern, both in the style of photos and in the setting.
After portraits, Sara and Brett were married in a gorgeous golden mass. They had a church full of all the people they love witnessing their covenant take place. You could feel how much this ceremony meant to the *almost* newlywed couple! The church had gorgeous details and lots of natural light. A photographer’s dream!
Once it was time for the reception, everyone was ready to have a great time! The entrances straight to the warm, wooden dance floor were so upbeat and fun. And they didn’t waste any time getting ready for their wedding dinner… they got their aprons on right away to eat some burgers!
After dinner & speeches, the first dances took place and they were so sweet. Then the dance floor filled with fun lights and my flash, of course. It was so much fun! We closed out the night with a golden sunset session among the pines. We loved capturing Sara & Brett and their beautiful love!
