VINTAGE LAS VEGAS CATHOLIC WEDDING AT THE SMITH CENTER VENUE | CHRISTINA & RYAN

weddings

ELEGANT, VINTAGE CATHOLIC WEDDING AT ST. ELIZABETH ANN SETON CHURCH, THE SMITH CENTER RECEPTION, AND ROSY COLOR SCHEME

Christina and Ryan’s wedding day style: vintage, elegant, and rosy.

Also, Christina is a professional ballerina, so my daughter went nuts about this. (Stay tuned for some stunning dance shots from the reception)

Christina’s dress was her mothers wedding dress, and it fit her PERFECTLY.

This morning of getting ready was such a cute time with her bridesmaids all over in their girly colors, enjoying the pastries and getting all dressed up.

Loved these gorgeous pink roses – real flowers make all the difference in a flat lay!

A very sweet first look with dad, then the girls prayed with the bride before the ceremony.

Christina chose to be walked down by both parents, and have them flip her blusher veil before presenting her to Ryan.

I really love that this parish has the Holy Family statues together so they could visit and venerate both Mary and Joseph.

Immediately following the ceremony, the newly married soaked in their joy in front of a Sacred Heart of Jesus statue before their friends joined them in the celebrating.

This photo of Christina on the church steps with the dress splayed out is a replica of a photo that her mom got in the same dress on her wedding day.

Fun fact: this church has one of my favorite crucifixes!

We arrived at the Smith Center to do portraits, and all the details at this venue are so lovely. The light, chandeliers, the stairs, etc are just ELEGANCE.

Doing a wedding at the Smith Center was an absolute dream – especially after I saw the Nutcracker Ballet there the year prior.

I’m a HUGE fan of balconies when it comes to getting those dancing photos.

We grabbed some sunset portraits on the gorgeous patio outside.

Fun, flashy reception photos worked SO well in this space with all the shiny and metallic surfaces.

This was one of the funniest and most entertaining dances ever because all the ballet friends were twirling around and doing ballet moves to your classic 2010’s pop songs.

At the end for the last song, the couple danced in the middle while everyone swayed and sang, Take Me Home, Country Roads. It was epic and loud.

Amazing lighting for their exit with streamers and bubbles.

Next day portraits

The next day, Christina and Ryan went with me to Calico Basin to do more portraits and really get photos at a location they wish they could’ve gotten on the wedding day, but couldn’t because of time constraints.

This session is something anyone can add on, or use the Opulent package additional 2 hours, to do!

CONGRATS CHRISTINA & RYAN!
