RUSTIC WEDDING INVITATIONS AND MORE FROM BASIC INVITE

SO LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING AMAZING. I JUST FOUND OUT ABOUT A WEBSITE CALLED BASIC INVITE. YOU CAN FIND THEM AT BASICINVITE.COM, BUT I’M WARNING YOU… YOU MIGHT END UP SPENDING HOURS ON THEIR WEBSITE PERUSING THEIR INCREDIBLE COLOR CHOICES AND CUSTOMIZABLE PIECES FOR WEDDING INVITES AND SAVE THE DATES. SO… LET’S TALK ABOUT WEDDING INVITATIONS AND SAVE THE DATES FOR A MOMENT.

Okay, so you can see for yourself. These are gorgeous pieces of paper, right? The company itself legit too. They are based out of Ivins, UT and have a whopping 4.7/5 stars on Wedding Wire.

Not only do they have beautiful designs – they have over 900 of them!

Each of their wedding invitations is part of a set. They have all the wedding stationery you could possibly need, including a ton of beautiful additions to your suite, like enclosure cards, wedding menus, wedding programs, and even matching thank you cards. Having a gorgeous invite suite will make any photographer happy (and you too of course). I’m especially obsessed with their rustic wedding invitations.

Just picture it – you and your honey’s names inscribed on some gorgeous paper like this in a design that perfectly suits your theme, style, and color scheme.

Now, in my opinion, some websites that make wedding invites honestly just don’t make the cut in a few areas. I mean, most of them are photo printing websites that don’t even specialize in creating work like this.

One of the most frequent bummers about them is that you’re not truly able to *customize* the pieces you want, especially when it comes to color.

Basic Invites is different, as they have almost unlimited colors for you to choose from.

No matter your color choice, there’s always an instant preview online while you’re creating too. You can change the color of each element on a card, with over 180 different color options. The card can be exactly how you want it, down to the tiniest detail. You can keep your card similar to their design or customize it to become something entirely different. This is what sets them apart from any other online stationery company and is their biggest draw, especially for brides who have a vision for their day.

They also have over 40 different colors of envelopes so that you can make your invitation stand out even before it is opened (heart eyes). All of the envelopes are peel and seal too, so they’re easy to open and you don’t have to lick them shut, because we’re in pandemic, people, and some of your guests might be germ-conscious, like my very own husband, who won’t like an envelope for anyone.

Color is definitely “in” for weddings, but some of us just can’t decide or maybe don’t vibe with saturated colors. My favorite color changes every few weeks or months, so my wedding color scheme was a blend of tans, whites, and greenery. Basic Invite has a palette that includes a ton of neutrals as well (many with texture!) so that you can find that perfect soft rosy, warm grey, or ivory color that you envision.

I’m sure you’ve all heard of wedding websites. I wish I had made one for us when we were getting married! They are so helpful in keeping all of your information concise and in one place.

The websites you can make with Basic Invite are also completely customizable!

They’re mobile friendly and super easy to use. You can instantly upload all of your wedding details, along with images, like your stunning engagement photos maybe, and even a convenient map with directions for your guests. Each website can be made with a design suite to match your wedding invitations too! Cohesive styling is so satisfying, am I right?

Now, you might be like yes, I want these… but what if I don’t like them once I see them in person? I get that 100%. Basic Invite allows you to order custom samples so that you can see the pieces with your own eyes before you order a hundred or two to send to all of your loved ones. They allow customers the ability to order a printed sample so they can see the card’s paper quality and how it will print before they have to place their final order. This is SUCH a cool thing because you want your photos especially to print well on paper before you spend a bunch of your money on a bulk product.

Trust me when I say it’s easy too. I just ordered some samples for myself – to photograph and show off to future bridal clients!

One thing that Basic Invite offers that I’ve never even heard of is a free address collection service. The way it works is you use the free tool to request your addresses with just three simple steps. Share a link via social media or email, collect addresses, and get free envelope printing. So your hand won’t be cramping AND your envelopes will look even more fabulous.

Lastly, and possibly the best possible thing to list as a final perk, they have seal and send wedding invitations as an option. This means that the paper suites are an all-in-one wedding invitation with a tear-off RSVP postcard included! No messy cards falling out of an envelope or tiny pieces of paper getting lost or thrown away. The Seal & Send is their newest collection and brides are LOVING them. If this doesn’t appeal to you enough, realize that there are 30 designs to choose from, including foil options. Yes, you read that right, they are customizable, just like everything else at Basic Invite. What’s special about the Seal & Sends is that guest’s addresses are printed on the front of each invitation so no envelope is necessary! All you have to do is share a link, collect guest addresses, and upload them onto your design. Once you receive your order all you have to do is add postage, fold your invites, and secure them with a sticker! Simple and easy, like we all want when we’re planning a wedding during a pandemic.

Basic Invite has a card for almost every major life moment; including, weddings, showers, birth announcements, birthdays, graduations, and more! If you’re in the planning phase, you won’t regret taking a look at their website to dream up a perfect invitation and then have it become a reality.
